Edward River Council is undertaking routine flushing of the water mains across Deniliquin. This essential maintenance activity is part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the integrity and quality of the water supply system.
Schedule of Works:
🗓 Commencement Date: 28th July 2025
🗓 Completion Date: TBC
🕒 Daily Operating Hours: 9:00am to 4pm Monday - Thursday
📍 Affected Areas: Starting at Lawson Syphon Road Deniliquin following the water pipes throughout town.
📍 Areas currently being flushed: Please refer to the information below
During the flushing period, residents may experience:
• Temporary discolouration of water • Fluctuations in water pressure • Brief interruptions to water service
We advise residents to refrain from using washing machines during the flushing hours and to run cold water taps for several minutes should any discolouration occur.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we carry out these necessary works to maintain the reliability and safety of your water supply.
