Edward River Council's Plans of Management are public documents that set out how community land is to be used, improved, managed and maintained.
A Plan of Management is developed by Council as a requirement of the The Local Government Act, 1993 as amended and the Local Government (General) Regulation, 2005. The Act requires Council-owned land to be classified as either ‘Community’ or ‘Operational’ land. Community land is further required to be categorised as Park, Sports Ground, General Community Use, Culturally Significant or Natural Area.
Pursuant to Section 38 of the Local Government Act 1993, Edward River Council advises that the;

How you can get involved
Submissions will be received up until 4pm, Friday 1st August 2025 and can be made online on this page, or written submissions should be forwarded to the Chief Executive Officer, Edward River Council. PO Box 270, Deniliquin NSW 2710 or via email council@edwardriver.nsw.gov.au.
Please note that any submission may be included in the Council business paper for consideration at an Ordinary Meeting of Council. The Draft Plans of Management can be viewed on Council’s website or at Council offices during business hours.
